Some Strategies not taken seriously to get more links and visitors to your blog

Every website owner dreams of a website that is full of visitors, clients, and relevant links. But there are some strategies that have not been considered very seriously for this purpose. These strategies could or would do wonders to your online business if adopted and practiced seriously, regularly, and religiously. A good webmaster knows blogging plays an important role in improving a site's popularity, reach, and business prospects.

1 Reading and responding to the blogging community

When you read and write your comments on the blogs of other people who are in similar business as you, you are killing two birds with one stone. You are not only getting clicks or visits from people as well as search engines who read your comments, but also getting an entry into the community corresponding to your target market. This provides you information about people who might be interested in having a fruitful alliance with you and also get to find some cheap and targeted advertising sources.

2 Trackback- an easy way of getting links to your site

Trackback is a sort of commenting system where the reader is allowed to follow a topic around the web so that he/she can view other bloggers' comments on the same topic. Thus the publisher gets to cite references to the issue on which he/she has written. So when you want to react or respond to a particular issue, all you have to do is send the other site notification that you cited them on your blog. When that link appears on their site, it will draw visitors to your site. In trackback, there are lesser chances of fraud links as the blogger has the opiton to reject a link.

3. Submitting articles to Ezines or directories

Longer pieces of writing should ideally be changed into articles and submitted to ezines or directories that ask for direct links to your article. Also it is important to check whether your Auto-discovery tag is functioning properly as it has the ability to fetch more links, prospects, and buyers.

The methods mentioned above may be traditional, or not so 'hot' or the 'in thing', but they have the potential to make your site the talk of the town
